It gives us an immense pleasure to inform you that we are back again with POS SPECTRUM 2022- the Annual Conference of Poona Ophthalmological Society.

Dates: 3-4 December 2022.

Instruction courses:

SSTC (Surgical Skill Transfer Course) : SSTC will be conducted on Saturday 2nd Dec 2022. SSTC candidates need to register for the main conference too, may please be noted.

Each course is for 30 mins. The slots will be from 9am to 1pm. The slot allotment will be communicated to the participant by email or phone. For queries regarding SSTC please contact Dr. Mandar Paranjpe ( 9823051931, paranjpeeyecare@gmail.com) or Dr. Prasad Walimbe (9822411665, prasadwalimbe@gmail.com). For the combo tickets only one course can be selected by the participant at the time of booking. For the other course he has to contact Dr. Mandar Paranjpe or Dr. Prasad Walimbe.

The SSTC registration fee structure is as under:

1. SSTC HANDS-ON: ₹1000 (Registration fee for one Hands-On course)
2. SSTC VIDEO-BASED: ₹700 (Registration fee for one Video-Based course)
3. SSTC HANDS-ON COMBO: +₹1700 (Registration fee for two Hands-on courses)
4. SSTC VIDEO-BASED COMBO: ₹ 1200 (Registration fee for two Video-based courses)
5. SSTC MIXED COMBO : ₹ 1500 (Registration fee for one Hands-on and one video-based course)

CALLING FOR ABSTRACTS FOR ORAL & POSTER RESENTATIONS!! 

All abstracts should be submitted on email to: reachmedvents@hotmail.com

Oral Presentation:Prepare your oral presentation for 5 minutes, & 2 minutes for discussion.

Poster Presentation: Each poster should be 90 cm wide x 120 cm high,(A3 size) mounted vertically.

• No Phone calls will be entertained regarding acceptance of any abstracts; the Scientific Committees’ decision will be final
• DEADLINE: All abstract must be received by 15th October, 2022. Authors selected for oral & poster presentation will be informed by 30th October 2022

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ABSTRACT PREPARATION:

1. LANGUAGE: Abstract must be typed and presented in English

2. FONT: Use font type Times New Roman,

3. WORD LIMIT: The abstract must be written within 350 words. Excluding title, and the names of the author (s) and their institutions

4. CONTENT: The submitted abstracts must contain the following:

• Objectives: State the main objective of the study

• Materials and methods: Briefly describe the design of the study and how it was conducted

• Results: Present the main results with appropriate statistics

• Conclusion: Limit the conclusions to those that are directly supported by the results.

5. TITLE: The title of the abstract must be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS with the exception of scientific names, which should be in upper and lower case forms and italicized.

6. PRESENTING AUTHOR DETAILS:

• The presenting author’s name must be underlined.

• The presenting author’s name, institution, address, telephone and email address must be provided.

• Presenting authors must be registered for the conference.

Only Registered delegates will be allowed to present.

7. RIGHTS TO PUBLISH: In submitting the abstracts the authors also grant the organizing committee the right to publish the abstract in the proceedings both in hard and electronic form

8. ACCEPTANCE: Presenting author shall be notified of the status of the abstract after being reviewed by the committee, by email. Communication will only be made by email on this regard.
